As a new day starts, the adults have off from work. Both children have school, however. Vince has breakfast for the family on the table ready to go.

When breakfast is over, Jason heads off to preschool with Will to grade school shortly after. Last time, Brutus escorted Will. Brutus was sleeping this time as Will left for school.

I send Vince off to the spa and gym. His best friend growing up and who was part of his wedding arrives for some meditation, but there is no room. Bummer. However, he was able to give his best friend, Reese, a massage. He then shows one of the younger workers how to give a good foot massage. Vince ends his day completing one of the four tasks for his Wellness Aspiration.

Just as Vince and the family were settling in for dinner, I get the notification that Brutus is passing away. Everyone is still mourning over Xochitl and now this will add on to it. This poor family right now.

After dinner, I take them all to the Legacy family cemetery. I place down Brutus’ gravestone. It will be moved later.

It’s bedtime for the family after that. They are all too sad and depressed.

While the family is asleep, I spy the Grim Reaper has still hung around. Geordi is also in the house. He does have a residence key to enter anytime he wants. The two must be discussing when it’s Geordi’s time to go.

As Friday arrives, Will and Jason have school one more day before the weekend. Vince and Aoi have work, but I am going to have Aoi take a vacation day as I have plans for the couple tonight. The family enjoys breakfast together and then the kids go off to school. Jason is heading off to school a bit smelly. He didn’t have a chance to get a bath.

Then, Vince makes his way to work. At work, he is approached to endorse a product he knows nothing about. I don’t think he would without checking its authenticity first.

When Jason comes home from school, I have Aoi give him the needed bath.

Vince arrives home with a raise. Good for him. With him being in a saddened mood from Brutus passing away, this is something positive for him.

Today in-game, there is a Night on the Town event with free food. Maybe this will also cheer Vince up. It’s also nice to have him and Aoi spend some quality time alone away from the boys.

I have Vince and Aoi travel to the Rattlesnake Juice bar.

From there I have Vince and Aoi start a Date event. First thing is for them to grab some free food and drinks at the bar and sit at one of the tables outside. Aoi is still sad and has a hard time concealing it. Eventually, Vince gets her to talk by throwing some smooth talk her way so both end up becoming flirty with each other.

Aoi must be enjoying herself now, I hope. She gets on her phone and looks to be texting about her date with Vince. She is definitely talking about him. However, a pop up appears about Vince liking argumentative Sims. I didn’t know Aoi was argumentative. It has to be her as he is not talking to anyone else. As they eat the food they got for free, I have Vince tell Aoi a story. As Vince gets up and has Aoi approach him, it gets steamy between the two as he moves in for a kiss.

As Vince gives his wife a shoulder massage, he has a couple deep conversations with her.

It ends up being a gold date between Vince and Aoi as well as a successful Night on the Town.

When Vince and Aoi arrive home, it’s age up time for Aoi. I was going to have Vince bake (or cook) a cake, but there was one in the fridge already, so I am having them use that. It’s already after 9pm in-game time. There seems to be a distraction going on as Aoi blows out her candles. She did make a wish, though. Hopefully it will come true, whatever it was.

Then it’s bedtime for the family.

The next morning arrives. Vince wakes up contemplating life with an oncoming midlife crisis ahead of him.

Today is Jason’s birthday. He is going to age up to the child lifestage. As it’s Saturday, and the boys don’t have school and Vince doesn’t have work, I’ll age up Jason before Aoi goes off to work. This is the last breakfast Jason has to use the highchair. Soon, he gets to use the regular chair like a big boy.

I have Vince and Jason do things together to increase skills for both. I want to try and have Jason get as many of his toddler skills as high as possible before aging up since he is my Generation 3 heir.

Soon after, it’s time to age up Jason. He does pretty well in his toddler skills. He maxes out Communication and Potty. The Thinking skill is his lowest, which I was hoping was higher as he is going into the Detective career when he becomes a young adult.
I give Jason the Mind and Body Aspiration as those two are essential with my plans for him. I also start him off with the Outgoing trait replacing his toddler Inquisitive one. Lastly, I bring Jason into CAS for a small makeover and new outfits. For the makeover, I just change his hairstyle. Now that he is a child, his nickname kicks in and I will be referring Jason as Jay for short.

As soon a Jay ages up and converses with his dad, the two receive a Supportive Dynamic. I like this.

While Vince needs to fix the refrigerator, I have Jay begin working on his Mind and Body Aspiration. What a better way to have Jay build mental skills other than doing his homework.

As early afternoon approaches, Vince finally hits his midlife crisis stage.

I am going to end the chapter here. Next chapter, Vince will continue to work on his Wellness Aspiration as well as his desire to create for his midlife crisis.
