For some reason that I am not aware of, Jason is aggressive with grandpa, which is his final quirk. This also gives him the family dynamic of being difficult with grandpa. This is sad as he is the next heir and is not getting along too well with the founder. I could cheat this back to a previous save and prevent this from happening, but then it’s not the same.
I bring Vince over to Jason and have him discipline Jason for his recent behavior. I want a decent dynamic with father and son, so I have him do it calmly. Hopefully that will help.

After Geordi and Xochitl leave, I spy Vince in the middle of reading a book to Jason. Will was there, too. I’m guessing he wanted to hear the story.

As Vince is making dinner for the men because Aoi is at work, Will and Jason enjoy each other’s company. The Sims do enjoy a good grilled cheese sandwich.

Before bedtime, Vince works on potty training with Jason.

The next morning arrives. It’s a Monday and Vince has work today. Will has grade school while Jason has preschool. Aoi gets a day off to rest and relax. I’ll leave autonomy to decide what she does today. But before work and school, it’s the traditional family sit down for breakfast. During breakfast, it seems Will and Jason were doing funny stuff across the tables as the two receive a jokesters family dynamic with each other.

Jason is the first off to preschool. I enjoy the fact that he goes to school on his own, rather than a parent taking him. Then Will heads out to grade school. Brutus walks ahead of him; I’m guessing to send him off. Finally, it’s Vince’s time to leave for work.

While Will is at school, Aoi gets a call about Will being sick. Of course, I have Aoi have them make sure he is okay. This is a great lead in for me having Will become a doctor when he becomes a young adult.

Jason is the first to come home. Time to work on some skills before Vince gets home. He ages up to the child lifestage in six in-game days. Plenty of time to get him to the Top-Notch Toddler. My goal is to have him max out all skills without cheating them. Will see how that goes.

Vince comes home from work around 4pm in-game time. No raise, but still a decent amount pay for a day.

Today is Rebate Day. I look around to see what I can buy for Jason that is 500 simoleons or more. I find the Fantastical Play Tent, which is 500 simoleons. Both Will and Jason will be able to enjoy this in the end.

As Vince is making dinner, Vince gets a phone call. It’s not good news. Xochitl, his mom, has passed away. The first of this Legacy family. I have the family eat dinner first before I send them to the cemetery I built for this Legacy.

Behind-the-scenes, I bring Vince to the founder’s house in Willow Creek to grab Xochitl’s urn/gravestone. I invite his family along with, Geordi (his father), Cass and Zoe (his two sisters), and Karmine (his stepsister). I have them mourn her gravestone.

After I get the family home, I send them all off to bed. Will is too sad to even change into his pajamas. I guess the game decided to have him cry it out rather than sleep, even though I told him to sleep before having Vince put Jason to bed. They know what’s best for themselves, I guess. I love how Vince and Aoi cuddle. I see it as her comforting him after losing his mom.

The next day arrives. It’s now Tuesday. Many of the family members are still in a sad mood from Xochitl passing away. But the day must go on. Jason has preschool, Will has grade school, and Aoi has work. Vince is going to spend the day occupying himself at the spa and gym helping others for his Wellness Aspiration. But first, the traditional family breakfast.

At the spa, Olive Watson decides to watch her husband Imran take Vince’s meditation class. I think she wants to join, but unfortunately there are no more stools. Vince is lucky enough to give a message to rising star celebrity, Orange Bailey-Moon. Karmine’s husband’s brother, Miguel, stopped by for a hand massage. I think Orange enjoyed his therapy massage so much, he wants to attend Vince’s yoga class after.

When Vince gets home from the spa and gym, it’s dinner time for the men of the household. It’s around 6pm in-game time, so the children are home from school. Aoi has already left for work when Vince arrives home.

I have Vince and Jason work on skills together. Vince gets some parenting in while Jason works on his thinking.

At the end of the night before bed, I have Vince get in a workout. He hasn’t exercised in a while. His eating and wellness habits have kept him in good shape. During his workout, he autonomously was thinking about his mom who passed away the previous in-game evening.

Wednesday arrives and everyone has either school or work today in-game. Nothing special in today’s agenda. The family has breakfast together before they all head off to their destinations.

While Vince is at work, he gets a request for feedback. I’d like to think Vince would add some type of praise to it.

When Vince and Jason arrive home, it’s continued work on their skills together.

Soon enough it’s dinner time. Again, it’s just the men of the household as Aoi is at work.

After dinner, I notice Will and Jason have a little goofy dance-off with each other. And they do it autonomously. Then it is dad’s turn to join in on the fun.

Aoi comes home at 9pm in-game time and that means bedtime for everyone.

On that note, I will end the chapter here. The next chapter, Aoi and Jason should be aging up.
