It’s time for Vince to now age up. Nothing special except for probably a wrinkle here and there.

I have Vince celebrate his aging up by playing with Jason. This allows Jason to achieve the Pincer Grasp and Babble milestones. It’s a sunny hot day, so the game put them in one of their hot weather outfits.

Both Vince and Aoi have to work today. I have Vince head off to work at 10am in-game time. He looks pretty good for adulthood. Almost like nothing changed from young adult.

Now that William is a child, I am giving him the nickname of Will. If any of my Sims can have a nickname, I am going to give them one when they age up to the child lifestage. Generation 1 Founder, Geordi Sims, had a daughter named Cassie. She visited Vince in an earlier chapter and I kept her name as displayed. If she visits further on, she will be called Cass for short. These are displayed in their family tree which can be seen on the table of contents for this gameplay.
Henceforth in this Generation, William will be called Will. It’s Friday in-game and Will starts grade school on Monday, so I will give him a jump on his homework. I want him to be an A student. His future career will be a Doctor. Not that he’ll need an A to be one, it’s sort of fun to be a little realistic.

It’s good to see work option pop-ups again for Vince even though he’s at the top of his career. I think he’d use the gym on his 30-minute lunch break if he’s not actually going to eat. His stepsister’s husband also texts him a happy birthday.
As Vince comes home from work, he receives a raise. And not only a raise, but a work bonus. I think he really likes his job.

I have Generation 1 Founder have some quality time with Generation 2 heir. This allows Jason to unlock the Creep milestone.

Then it’s dinner time for the boys. Vince will eat with his wife when she gets home. It’s nice to have Jason be able to try finger foods as an infant. Tomorrow in-game, he’s going to age up to a toddler.

After dinner, Jason is cranky because he is tired. I have Vince put him to bed after rearranging the bedroom. I want to keep the outdoorsy theme I started. I made the rug a bit bigger, gave Will a new bed, and moved some of the other furniture around. The crib will go away, and a toddler bed placed after Jason ages up.
Once Aoi comes home, Vince has dinner on the table and the two eat before they themselves go to bed. As I am writing this, a new Pack came out for the Sims called Lovestruck. It’s all about romance pretty much. This is the first time I’ve seen Sims get this close to each when sleeping. I actually like it.

As the next day arrives, it’ll be Jason’s time to age up to a toddler. Before that happens, I have the family have breakfast together. Since Jason can have finger foods, everyone can sit and eat at the same time.

Before aging up the Generation 3 heir to a toddler, here is a look at the accomplishments Jason was able to achieve as an infant. A lot more milestones completed than what Vince did as an infant.

I saved the cake that was used for when Will and Vince aged up. I have the Generation 2 heir assist the Generation 3 heir in aging up. As Jason is destined to be a Detective, I give him the toddler Inquisitive trait.
I take Jason into CAS to give him a hairdo and outfits makeover. All his clothing is going to come from either Base Game, Get to Work pack, packs that didn’t come with a World, or Custom Content from toddler through adulthood.

Vince doesn’t have work today, so it’s a day at the spa and gym to work on his Wellness Aspiration.
Maintaining a regular customer is my biggest challenge. No regulars came back for the meditation class. It is nice to see new Sims taking part, though. For the massage therapy, I can only assume the one in the turquoise dress is telling the elder therapist she wants a massage like how Vince is doing it. She was in his meditation class prior to the massage.

While Vince was at the spa and gym, Jason was a busy body toddler learning new skills. Jason acquired the movement, communications, imagination, and potty skills. This is good as my goal is to get him to max out or get all the toddler skills as high as possible before he ages up to the child lifestage.

When Vince arrives home, it’s dinner time for the men of the family. Aoi is at work.

When Aoi gets home from work, it’s time for the kids to go to bed. I did another small makeover of their bedroom, giving them a bunkbed to make room for other things. As Vince puts Jason to bed, Jason reveals one of his quirks. He loves sounds.

Moving onto the next day, it’s Mother’s Day. I created this holiday for my gameplay starting this generation and onward. I also created a Father’s Day which will be next season, during the Summer. I thought it would be nice for Sims to celebrate their parents. I keep it simple. Give someone flowers and have a grand meal.

The family enjoys breakfast together. Jason immediately throws his food on the floor. I guess he didn’t want eggs and toast. He’ll get cereal when everyone else is done eating.

It’s a Sunday. Vince has the day off, but Aoi has to work. Normally, I would be bringing Vince to the spa and gym, but I want him to spend time with his mom. After getting the family appropriately dressed, I have Vince jump on his phone and buy some flowers for when he invites his parents over.

It looks like Jason knew grandma was being invited over and he’s the first outside to greet her autonomously. Of course, I have to have him give her hugs because he looks so sad. He had to meet grandpa, too.

No time like the present to have Vince give his mom her Mother’s Day flowers.

Then, I have Vince cook a Grand Meal for lunch for his mom. Well, dinner for lunch. I have him make tofurkey so Aoi can enjoy eating with them. She is both vegetarian and lactose intolerant.

While Vince is making dinner, Jason is playing in the toilet. This gives him his next quirk of loving water.

At lunch time, the family sits down for the Mother’s Day grand tofurkey meal. Three Generations at the table together.

I’m going to end this chapter here with the Mother’s Day lunch. In the next chapter, I’ll have Vince continue working on the last of the Wellness Aspiration. I don’t think he’ll complete it, but he will get close. Jason will continue to work on his toddler skills.
