First thing first, I make sure the two are wearing wedding bands by going into CAS and updating all their outfits.
Vince has to work today, even though he just got married yesterday in-game. His newlywed wife also has to work today. And unfortunately, they work opposite shifts. But they both have tomorrow off.
This morning, Vince gets to have breakfast with someone else now. The start of his own family has begun. I have to be careful with Vince and what he makes, as Aoi is both a vegetarian and lactose intolerant. French toast is the best option for today.
Then it’s time for Vince to go off to work. He’s about to get another promotion. He’s been working hard at this. At work, Vince receives a text message from someone he went to high school with congratulating him on his marriage.
As predicted, Vince gets his promotion. Another outfit change as well. This jumpsuit is uglier than the last one. Reminds me of the Kill Bill outfit. I’m going to change it back to the one I put him in with the green shorts and green shoes. He only has one more promotion to go and then he’s at the top of his career. To get to that, Vince has to obtain one more Charisma skill level. He’s already close to skilling that up.
Vince passes Aoi as he comes home from work and as she leaves for work. She looks more like a cheerleader than a Dance Captain. Hopefully she gets promoted quickly.
Now that Brutus is an adult dog, Vince can take him out for runs. Brutus has seemed to have gotten himself all dirty earlier, so Vince gives Brutus a good bath.
Aoi gets off work at 9pm in-game time. I have Vince do a little meditation before cooking dinner. He’ll wait to eat until she gets home. It’s a late dinner, but the two get to eat together.
When Aoi comes home from work, Vince has excellent Butternut Gnocchi prepared and they eat dinner together for the first time.
After dinner, Vince and Aoi cuddle up and watch a movie together. When the movie ends, they continue their cuddling in the bedroom.
Around 1:30am in-game time while Vince and Aoi are sound asleep, a notification pops up. There’s a baby in the oven for Aoi. It must have been the woohoo from the night of the wedding.
The next morning, Vince and Aoi wake up together as Brutus made sure it was time to get up. Neither have to work today.
Leftovers french toast for breakfast. Aoi does not look to be showing yet. She’ll probably look big on her 2nd trimester.
It isn’t until after breakfast, when the morning sickness kicks in for Aoi. Vince goes over to comfort her stomach. Maybe he’s telling the baby to not make mommy sick, too.
I have Vince give Aoi some meditation guidance. Even Brutus wants to take part.
Then it’s time to take Vince and Aoi out for a bit of pampering. It’s a gloomy day outside, so it gives them another reason to be indoors getting special treatment.
Both Vince and Aoi look happy about spending a day at the spa. I have them change into their robes.
First up is both getting a massage.
Then it’s off to the sauna. I find out that a pregnancy disallows use of a sauna. But Vince gets a good use out of it. I also find out Aoi’s parents are in the sauna next door. And her dad likes to use the sauna in his birthday suit. I was hoping to take her into the whirlpool, but she can’t even go in there either.
I guess Vince and Aoi will hit the bar, then.
After Vince and Aoi finish their light meal, it’s hand and feet massage time for the both of them.
I can’t believe that did take up most of the day from the body massage to Vince relaxing in the sauna, having the two have a light meal, finally to a hand and foot massage for each.
As I send Vince and Aoi home, I notice there’s a big garbage pile in the yard and Vince’s mom, Xochitl, is hanging around. Did she do that? There’s a garbage can right behind it just a few steps away. He must be so angry as he takes it inside to throw away, rather than a few steps.
Since Brutus has been home alone most of the day, I have Vince do some pet attention with him for a while.
Then it’s dinner time. It’s nice to see Xochitl join Vince and Aoi.
The next day, both Vince and Aoi have to work. With his latest promotion, Vince works morning and Aoi works evening and now she leaves before he gets home. Life of a working couple, I guess.
It’s an eggs and toast day since Aoi is definitely now showing. She is in her 2nd trimester now.
As mentioned in the previous chapter, I change Vince’s work outfit into a pair of green shorts and shoes. It goes well with the main Sims theme and the plumbob. I can see Aoi is digging it.
When Vince gets home from work, it’s time to take Brutus for another run. It is raining outside. Nice way for both Vince and Brutus to get a shower in (sarcastically, of course).
After his jog, a notification pops up about Vince’s sisters aging up. It’s time to change to that household for a small makeover. His sisters are twins and I want to make sure both have the same type of looks and keep their clothing colors as I have maintained.
I like the hairstyle the game gave Zoe, so I will give that to Cassie as well. As a reminder from Generation 1, Cassie wears pink and Zoe wears yellow.
As Aoi comes home from work, Vince is finishing up making dinner. It’s a garlic noodles night. I have garlic noodles for dinner myself about once a week. Of course, I don’t make it from scratch like our Sims do.
I am going to go ahead and end this chapter here. Next chapter, a new family will arrive, and we’ll get a glimpse who the next heir(ess) is going to be.
