Worlds Apart: 1.23: Football Team Sports Day

It’s now the next morning, the day after Spooky Day. Geordi has work, Vince has school, and Xochitl has the day off. This is good as she’s in her 2nd trimester of pregnancy. Of course, it’s the traditional family breakfast first.

The money tree continues to bloom each day. The amount is always almost the same. It’s an easy 11k simoleons and will help when Vince moves out on his own.

While Geordi is at work and Vince at school, I have Xochitl work on Geordi’s rocketship. I’d like to get this finished sooner rather than later.

When Vince comes home from school, it’s one of his school classmates, Wren, who toss around the football with him. Unfortunately, Wren throws it a little too hard on one of the tosses and bonks poor Vince in the head.

After a bit of ball tossing, it’s time for the Football Team Sports Day. As being on the football team, I have to have Vince attend. He meets up with some of his football team members. I kind of wish Vince was in his football uniform for this.

Vince tosses a ball around with one of the cheerleading team members. His name is Clint. It’s good to see Vince has a good form and throwing technique. He ends up with a tossing score of 30. Not really a good high score I suppose. Talking to the judge, Vince is told he is in 3rd place.

I decide to go ahead and give it another try with Vince. This time, with a football team member who goes by Ritvik. This scoring is worse than the first one. I guess tonight is not Vince’s night.

Back home, I have Vince do his homework. I don’t know why, but he decides to sit on the living room floor to do it rather than a table. This completes the milestone for his Goal Oriented Aspiration. Because I will have a month dedicated to Copperdale and the High School Years pack, I think I’ll just go ahead and send Vince alone every day to school. I do want to travel with him to Prom and more football team sports days, though.

His next milestone for the Goal Oriented Aspiration should be easy. Vince can maintain an A grade for three days. Career Day is next week in-game. I’ll have to make sure Vince attends football practice and works hard on it.

The next morning arrives. Xochitl is about to pop out a baby. She is well into her third trimester. She is supposed to work today, but I will have her take a vacation day as I don’t want her having this baby when she’s at work.

Geordi has today off of work, which is good. I don’t have to use a vacation day on him as I want him to go with his wife to the hospital when she goes into labor. It’s Friday and he has the whole weekend off. Perfect opportunity to also work on the rocketship.

Before school starts, Vince works on some of his basketball skills. I add a basketball hoop on the side of the house for him. My goal is to get Vince’s Fitness skill maxed while he is still a teenager.

Around 2:25pm in-game, Xochitl goes into labor. It’s baby time. I have Xochitl check-in at the front desk. There’s a ghost doctor behind both Geordi and Xochitl. I wonder if he’ll be the one delivering the baby. Turns out the ghost doctor is not the one. I’m kind of glad. Sounds weird having a ghost deliver a baby. Leinani Price is the doctor. I think she might be pregnant herself. I also love the pink hair she has. Geordi is acting as if this is the first time he’s gone through this. Love that about the Sims.

It turns out Xochitl is having twins. And they’re both girls. I give them the names of Cassie and Zoe.

I put the twin girls in mom and dad’s room. Luckily, they are only newborns for one in-game day.

Vince arrives home from football practice with horrible Needs. I’ll have to have him work on some of these before he meets his new little sisters. He should be advancing to the second level on the football team on Monday in-game.

After I get some of Vince’s Needs in the green, I have him introduce himself to his baby twin sisters before he goes off to bed himself.

I have dad and mom take turns throughout the night take care of the twin newborns.

The twins are sound asleep during breakfast time for the rest of the family.

Xochitl is the only one who has some type of work today, but I am having her take family leave. The newborn twin girls will age up to infants later in the afternoon. Because of this, I want to make sure she is home for it.

Xochitl hasn’t spent much time with Vince, so I thought they could bond over some sports playing since she is an athlete. First, they throw the football around together and then they play some basketball. It is a bit rainy and gloomy outside, but they’ll pull through. Dad can watch the newborns behind-the-scenes.

This allows for Vince to max out his Fitness skill. Dream Big interaction with the basketball hoop does wonders. But he also has a higher relationship with his mom now as well as they socialized in-between.

As 4pm now rolls around, it’s time to age up the newborn twins into infant twins. I randomize each of their traits. Of course, I have to bring them into CAS to give them tiny makeovers, so I can easily tell them apart as well for readers to tell the difference between the two. Cassie will wear pink clothes with a splash of other colors and Zoe will wear yellow with a splash of other colors. I’ve also updated their hairstyles to match each other since they are twins. I left the other features alone. That being said, it looks like Cassie gets her looks from her dad and Zoe from her mom.

I am going to end the chapter here. Next chapter, I will have a new room for the twin infant girls. I’ll also have Vince go to his first prom. He should be able to attend two of them before he ages up.
