In the evening hours, the family has dinner together.

The money tree needs watering, so I have Vince take on that duty. I’m hoping tomorrow in-game, he can harvest it one final time before I age Jay up to a young adult.

Soon after, it’s bedtime for the family. Tomorrow in-game is going to be a big day.

As the next morning arrives, the family has breakfast together one final time. Today, Jay ages up to a young adult and this will be the end of me playing Vince with Generation 2.

I think Aoi knows this is the last in-game day I’ll be playing this household. She autonomously goes up to Vince after breakfast and gives him a big smooch. I hope she realizes the game itself will be taking over for her and Vince.

About an hour later in-game time, it’s time for Jay to go to high school for his last day of classes. I like how Vince is looking proud of his son in the background.

Vince and Aoi are supposed to work today, but because Jay is aging up after school, I am having these two take a vacation day.

As mentioned earlier in the chapter, the Generation 2 money tree will have its last harvest. This brings the household funds a little over 1.1m in simoleons. Jay will take half of that when he moves out on his own to Magnolia Promenade.

I decide to let Vince do his own thing for this final gameplay day with me controlling him. He does two things I expected him to do autonomously – work out and meditate.

When Jay gets home from school, it is time. Jay becomes a young adult. As he’s going into the Detective career, a good trait to have is Genius. This will get him in a Focused mood, which is a must for the career. I take him into CAS to give him a new wardrobe look for Generation 3. I keep all other body features as the game has given him.

To end the Generation, I have Vince give Jay the keepsake box that was given to him from Geordi as a gift. I had Geordi put a picture of himself in the keepsake box before handing it off to Vince. Sadly, I fell victim to the bug of the photos turning black. However, I am still going to continue on with this tradition. I have Vince place a picture of himself into the box. If it ends up going black, so be it. Just seeing the box being handed down from Generation to Generation makes me happy. I also found a mod where an adult can hand down the keepsake box. Without a mod, it has to be an elder. I want to make sure the young adult heir(ess) receives the box when moving out. This concludes Vince’s story. The next chapter will begin Jay’s story. He’ll already be moved out and in his new home in Magnolia Promenade. Jay will receive half of the funds that were built up in Generation 2. They made a total of 1,128,725 simoleons, therefore Jay will take 564,362 simoleons with him.

Below are some statistics Vince Sims is ending Generation 2 with.
