It’s now Saturday. The boys don’t have school on the weekends. Vince has the day off from work, but unfortunately, Aoi does not. The family sit down for breakfast together.
Jay’s Fitness skill is 8 out of 10. He needs 10 to complete his Bodybuilder Aspiration. I have him and Vince work out together for most of the morning until Jay’s muscles begin to hurt.
I put the game on auto and let them all do what they want until the evening hours. Each Saturday evening in the game, it’s Prom night. I figured it would be fun to send both Will and Jay to Prom together. Big brother taking his little brother to the Prom instead of an actual date. These two are best friends, anyway. It is a rain shower outside when the boys get to the school.
As the Prom has tasks, I have Jay grab some punch. Then both Will and Jay vote for the Prom Royalty of the night. I use a mod to have two crowned winners rather than a crown and jester hat. This was introduced in Generation 1. Will and Jay vote for each other along with someone else. Once both have voted, they hit the dance floor.
After taking a selfie with himself and his brother on the school’s board backdrop, Jay and Will head to where the crowning ceremony is about to take place. Unfortunately, they did not win. I think Jay is relieved he didn’t.
It’s late when Will and Jay get home from Prom that I have them both head right to bed.
As Sunday arrives, it’s the first day of the Fall season. French toast was the family breakfast for the morning.
Aoi is the only one working today. I decide to make this a Generation 2 and 3 heir bonding day. I have Vince and Jay first go to the gym together. They did a bit of machine working out first. Then instead of leading a yoga class, Vince joins in on one along with Jay. Jay ends up liking Wellness.
Afterwards, Vince and Jay head to the spa for some massage therapy. Once their muscles are tended to, the two finish off their bonding time in the spa’s jacuzzi.
I have Vince and Jay head home now as it’s dinner time. Aoi is at work and Will has been doing who knows what by himself. Vince cooks up a hearty meal for the three and they sit down together for a family dinner, minus the wife.
Around 10pm in the evening when the family is sleeping, I get the notification that Vince’s stepsister has passed away. If memory serves me correct, she was a teenager when Vince was born. So, there was a decent age gap between the two.
The next morning, during the family breakfast together, I don’t think Jay is all too fond of what Vince made. I guess I missed a notification where he becomes a picky eater. Poor kid. Thankfully, he’ll still eat it.
Now that it’s Monday, both Will and Jay have school. I will not be following Jay until his next Prom, which is Saturday, in-game time. While at school, Aoi gets a phone call about Jay. I will be having Jay go into the Detective Career when he becomes a young adult. Perhaps he is practicing a little early.
Vince has work today as well. Aoi is the only one who will stay home. I will work on her skills to help her gain the next promotion in her Career.
When Will and Jay arrive home from school, I get a notification asking if Jay wants to invite someone he knows from school over. Of course, I want to check it out. To my surprise, he’s been having a fling going on at school I didn’t know about. This is the first time I’ve seen this between these two. I never paid attention to his relationship panel.
To no surprise, Vince comes home from work with a pay raise. He’s been knocking these out of the park. This will help Jay find a nice home in Magnolia Promenade. Of course, it will be a custom home. But I will know his price range.
Because Erin stayed long enough after Vince created dinner, I put her in the group when I had him have the family grab a serving together. It’s nice to see Jay’s crush stay over for dinner.
The next morning, the family gets up to have their traditional family breakfast. Will is going to age up to a young adult in three more in-game days. At that point, I will move him out of the household into his own home and let the game take over his life.
Today, the boys have school and Aoi has work. I’m going to follow Vince, who doesn’t have work, around to the gym and spa until Will and Jay get home from school.
I take Vince to the gym for a workout. He hasn’t done any since his day out with Jay. It wasn’t long ago, but long enough. At the gym, Vince meets his high school best friend, Reese.
After his workout, Vince heads to the spa to host a guided meditation. Was nice getting him back to his roots. I have him finish his day sweating it out in the spa’s sauna with others.
When Will and Jay arrive home from school, it’s time for Jay to go on a date with Erin. Since the game kind of hooked these two up on its own, I think I will keep it going.
I have Jay take Erin to The Patty Shack. This is a restaurant created by a Sims player and uploaded it to the Gallery.
I have Jay get a table for him and Erin.
Then, a bit of socializing while Jay looks at the menu to see what to order for the two of them. Both have the Chef’s Choice, which is grape soda and the chimi burger. I think Jay is happy that they’re sitting indoors rather than outside as it’s very hot out and there could be flies all around. The older couple outside seem not to be enjoying the sun.
I have Jay perform his first kiss. I didn’t get to pause the kiss in time, but the after effect is just as good. Erin has a large heart over her head and Jay is talking about strength.
The date ends with a Gold Medal status. I had no doubts with how these two are.
I’m going to end the chapter here with Jay’s date finished up. In the next chapter, the Lottery will return, and William will be moving out of the house.
