A little bit after 4am in-game time, Aoi wakes up and is ready to go to the hospital. As Vince was in his sleepwear, the game automatically sends him to the hospital in his boxer shorts. No time to get dressed, I guess. Aoi was able to get dressed.
I have him go check in at the front desk. But there is no one there to check them in. At least the doctor is still able to see her and deliver the baby.
The results are in. It’s another boy. Generation 3 will have an heir and not an heiress. There is still hope for future generations. His name is Jason Sims.
Today in-game, it’s Flower Bunny Day. To celebrate, Vince will decorate the house in Spring colors, go on an egg hunt inside the family house, and hopefully meet the Flower Bunny. In Generation 1, Geordi found three eggs. I was going to have him pass them down to the next heir, which is Vince. But I think it is more fun to see how many different eggs each new generation can find on their own without combining them with the previous generations.
Since Vince has the weekends off and it’s Sunday, it will be a good day to take care of Jason and do a household egg hunt. But first, it’s family breakfast time. Jason is sound asleep in his bassinet, so the rest of the family can enjoy a breakfast meal together. It’s a cloudy but very hot day out, so the family autonomously changes into a hot weather outfit.
Geordi stops by for a visit. I’m not sure how much time he has left. I need to have him meet his second grandson. I’m glad he autonomously came over. Geordi is looking good for his age.
As Vince is talking to Geordi, I want to see what the rest of the household is up to. This is where I spy Karmine with the Flower Bunny at the front door. I need to have Vince go meet him. Also, William should also see the Flower Bunny.
All that is left now is to hunt for eggs in the house. As I am having Vince check for eggs, his Bladder Need goes into the yellow. I click on the toilet and see the option to hunt for an egg there. Can we say, “Eww!” I have him look for an egg before he decides to Pee Like a Champion.
Vince ends up finding seven eggs. I have them displayed in the room where the boys will be. I may move them later when they become teenagers.
Now that Flower Bunny Day is a success, it’s time to send Vince to the spa and gym to hustle and promote his wellness services for his aspiration.
His stepsister and her husband joined in for the meditation therapy. She even accepts a foot massage from him. I think Vince is also giving her husband some pointers so he can do this at home. Her husband accepts an oil massage from Vince. At the gym, Karmine attends Vince’s yoga class.
Vince doesn’t get home until after 10:30pm in-game time. Everyone is already in bed. I had Vince grab something to eat at the gym earlier. So, I send him off to bed.
Jason did cry a lot throughout the night and needed some baby caring. Luckily, newborns age up after one day.
It’s Monday in-game, and Vince has to work today. Aoi has the day off. And I’ll send William to preschool. But first, I need to age up Jason into an infant. I give Jason the calm trait as my goal when he becomes a young adult is to join the Detective career.
It’s breakfast time with Vince, Aoi, and William. Jason doesn’t have the skills to use a highchair. His Hunger is in the green, so I can feed him a little later. But he does get a milestone while everyone else is eating.
After breakfast, I send William off to preschool.
Soon, it’s breakfast time for Jason. This reveals a quirk of Jason’s. He has a Good Appetite. I also find out he hates being held.
After feeding Jason, Vince heads off to work.
As Vince is at work I keep an eye on Jason. As he’s the Generation 3 heir, the focus will be him whenever Vince is away. I’ll also focus on him with Vince present as well. Jason reaches another milestone. Pun intended as the milestone is indeed reaching.
When Vince arrives home from work, a notification shows he received a raise. He is so proud looking. Good job, Vince.
While Vince was at work, Jason’s Hunger Need had fallen into the yellow without the care from Aoi. I guess this is good as Generation 2 heir can help take care of the Generation 3 heir. Jason also receives his last Quirk. He is also a self-soother.
The goal for Jason is to get as many milestones for him as I can as an infant by controlling him or having Vince help. I’ll let Aoi and other Sims autonomously help but will not control them. I decide to have Vince have some Tummy Time with Jason. Vince picks him up and takes him to the next room for that. Not sure why, but Vince knows best.
It’s dinner time for the family. Jason needs to reach the milestone that allows him to sit in a highchair. I tried to get Vince that milestone as an infant, but I didn’t achieve it. We’ll see if I can get Jason to. I don’t have high hopes.
After dinner, I have Vince do some tummy time with Jason. I am hoping for another milestone, but that is a no go. A bit later, everyone is off to bed for the night.
I am going to end the chapter here. In the next chapter, Vince and William should be aging up. Brutus might be aging up to an elder dog as well. I’ll also continue to have Vince work on the last portion of the Wellness Aspiration.
