For their date, I take Vince and Aoi to the Rattlesnake Juice Bar in Oasis Springs.
This date with Vince and Aoi is more picture friendly than description.
When Vince and Aoi get back home from their date, I have her go to the bathroom and do a pregnancy test to check if she is pregnant. Normally I would wait see what happens in the next 24 hours in-game time, but I need this pregnancy to happen.
And with that, it’s official. The next heir(ess) will be born soon. I can cheat with MC Command Center to see what the gender is, but there is no fun in that. She even has to autonomously go outside to share the news with Vince.
I also notice that Aoi’s parents have left, which means the stayover event with them has ended. They were actually a bigger help than I anticipated. Tomorrow in-game, William ages up to a toddler. He’ll still need help, but not as much as he was being an infant. I am wondering if we’ll see another stayover when the heir(ess) is born.
William is sound asleep on the floor, so I decide not to have Vince move him to his crib. It’s around 9:30pm in-game time and I’d rather not wake William up. I send both Vince and Aoi off to bed.
As everyone is sleeping, an adoption notice pops up. Vince’s stepsister and her husband have adopted a baby girl.
The next morning, both Vince and Aoi have work. I’d like to have both home when William ages up, so I will age him up before Vince goes off to work first. In fact, I age him up before breakfast, so he can eat with the family in a toddler highchair.
After breakfast, William has to give some tender loving care to Brutus. I like that even toddlers can interact with pets.
Mentioned in Generation 1, I have a mod installed that allows toddlers to go to preschool. Toddlers will learn and gain toddler related skills this way besides at home. I send William off to preschool. As William is not the Generation 3 heir, I will not be displaying much of his achievements. This will come when the heir(ess) is born in a few in-game days.
Soon after William leaves, it’s time for Vince to go to work. No more promotions as he at the top of his career. He can get performance raises, though.
It’s been awhile since any of my career oriented Sims received a pop-up with an option to choose. Vince can be on a bodybuilders reality show if he offers up a bribe. He wouldn’t lose his job. But I’m not fancying the bribe bit. If he was offered to go on and not lose his job, I’d have him take it. I don’t believe Vince is the bribing type of Sim, though.
Soon, it’s Aoi’s turn to head off to work.
Vince arrives home at 4pm in-game time. Aoi doesn’t come home until 9pm and I would guess most toddlers would be in bed at that time. So, for now, I have Vince and William have dinner together. This will be the norm until he ages up to a child. I’ll reevaluate at that time.
As I was having Vince put William to bed, the strict family dynamic appears. I guess William will be a bit rebellious.
The next day, Vince does not have work. So, I decide to start his second job, basically wellness freelancing, at the spa. This will help him in his final areas of the Wellness Aspiration. But first, my traditional showing off family breakfast time. It’s a Saturday, so William will be at home until Aoi goes off to work. Then he’ll automatically be sent to daycare.
At the spa, I need Vince to sell Wellness services for his Aspiration. I’ll have him teach meditation classes as well as give some massages and manicures for simoleons. I also send Vince to the gym to host yoga classes. Vince receives a couple tips for his services. Good for Vince.
First day seems to have gone well. I think I’ll do this on Vince’s days off as it took a good 8-10 hours in-game time to do what he did. If he does this on the days he works too, he’ll never be home enough to spend time with his family. Plus, he has his whole adult stage to complete the Wellness Aspiration. If he starts to fall behind, he can take vacation days from his actual job as a Bodybuilder and still get paid.
As Vince arrives back home, his mother is outside. She was probably waiting for him to come home. She does have a residence key, after all.
It’s another father and son dinner together while Aoi is at work. Xochitl was scared of something, so she keeps running around frantically. I did have Vince do a Call to Meal, but I want to make sure I get a screenshot of at least him and William eating.
Both Vince and William were sound asleep when Aoi came home from work.
I am going to end this chapter here. Next chapter, the heir(ess) will be born. I’ll continue to work on Vince’s last portion of the Wellness Aspiration.
