Vince has to work in the early hours still, so he gets up at 5am in-game time for breakfast. It’ll be nice when this guy doesn’t have to eat alone. I already miss the family meal environment from the first generation.

Then it’s off to work for Vince. I admire how he checks the sky for the weather forecast. Or so it seems. Winter season in-game is almost halfway over.
While at work, it seems Vince has hit a mental fog, so I have him take it easy for his last portion of his work shift. He’s working on meditation, so hopefully doing some of that later will help.

After work, I decide to have Vince adopt a dog. When it comes time to the Brindleton Bay World Generation, I’ll focus on the Cats & Dogs Pack. I feel it would be nice to add a pet companion to Vince’s life for now. I decide to go into CAS to create one, as I want a specific breed for him and it’s not showing up in the adoption menu.
Vince’s new puppy is of the Boxer breed. He is Playful, Active, and Loyal. His name is Brutus. I put a bed for Brutus at the end of Vince’s bed. In the kitchen is a feeding bowl. I just need to remember to have Vince fill it for Brutus when it becomes empty. Don’t need a starving puppy.

I also want to make sure Vince is getting Satisfaction points for the Rewards Store. I had him spend a good chunk of them getting the money tree. I’ll want to get other rewards later. Right now, he wants to cook an excellent meal and to go swimming. I think having a good swim will do the job after a mental fog at work.

Soon, it’s dinner time for Vince. I’m looking forward to seeing these empty chairs filled, and not just with guests who come over for a visit.

Since the beginning of the last chapter, Vince has been decently working on his Wellness Aspiration of Inner Peace. I thought finding peaceful surroundings was going to be the biggest challenge for this one, but it’s coming along nicely. When Vince is awake and at home, I have the stereo constantly playing New Age music. Behind the scenes, I also have him reading wellness books. Another option is to smell incense, so I might buy some for him to have in the house. Then I can knock this out of the park.
Before the evening is over and it’s time for bed, I have Vince do a bit of meditation. As I put Vince to bed, it is nice to see Brutus goes to bed as well. Pets are not controllable without a cheat. I decide not to use that cheat…yet. I might for my Brindleton Bay generation.

As the next day arrives, Vince has the day off from work. I let him sleep in a little bit. He has breakfast and then it’s off to the gym in Oasis Springs.
Last generation, I found an updated version someone made of the Burners & Builders Gym in Oasis Springs. It has what Vince needs for his Wellness Aspiration. It’s a cloudy day outside, it’s good to have him indoors doing what he loves best.

Vince’s daily task for work to mentor seems to always be completed now. But it’s fun to see him actually mentoring, so that is how his day at the gym begins. He had met Nin before and now finds out she is a homebody. Hopefully, she is thankful she is being mentored by a professional bodybuilder now. And someone she knows.

Vince finds out there is a yoga class about to start soon, so I have him pay to join the class. The yoga instructor is an elder, so she must be wise and can give Vince a few good tips.
Two others along with Vince joined in. It looks like Vince is a natural at yoga. I’ll eventually have him instruct classes of his own.

When the session is over, I have Vince go take a shower. The yoga workout gives him a good sweat to the point of almost stinkiness. His hygiene is in the yellow.
These showers are much better than the ones at the Willow Creek gym. Those had breakaway walls that I believe were glitched. The designer of this gym and its showers made privacy a lot better. Hats off to them.

It’s currently Tuesday in-game and Aoi’s profile shows she works at 2pm, so I’m going to have Vince have a casual lunch date with her. It’s taking place at the Rattlesnake Juice Bar in Oasis Springs.
I found a much better-looking renovated version of the game’s default lot. I’ll be doing more of these as generations further progress. Not that I don’t mind the game creators’ versions, I think player created renovations look better. They keep the concept, just tweak it up to look nicer.

The date between Vince and Aoi starts off with socializing and flirting.

Then it’s a little playfulness and Vince’s first kiss.

Vince and Aoi sit back down and have deep conversations. With the speech bubble of the world, it makes me wonder what they are talking about. Vince, having a Wellness Aspiration, gives Aoi a massage.

Completing all the dating goals, I end the date with Vince asking Aoi to be his girlfriend. Doing this, completes his New Year’s resolution he made. I guess there really isn’t lunch involved in this. I think it is a more a get to know each other type of date. Get to know each other, a lot.

Vince receives a phone call from his dad. Geordi wants to see his son. Vince promises to see him tomorrow. He can talk all about the date he just had and that he now has a girlfriend.
Vince cuddles with Brutus while being happy about his new relationship status with Aoi.

I’m going to end the chapter here. As many who plays The Sims game know, relationships need to move quickly due to a Sim’s lifespan. Next chapter we should see Vince and Aoi moving forward in their relationship even more, most likely with a proposal.
