Build Newcrest Challenge: Generation 1: Joseph Simself

Day 10 (Household Income: §4,358)

Good morning. Boy did I need that sleep. Not sure why I was so exhausted last night, but I’m refreshed today.

It’s 6:00am. My body odor pretty much woke me up before my alarm on my watch did.

I feel something good is going to happen at work today, so I’m going to take a bubble bath instead of a regular one.

After my bath time, I grab some cereal before I’m going to work on my gardening.

I swear as each day passes, it takes me longer and longer to take care of these flowers. You know why?

As I finish up watering them, I’m already late for work. Not good. But it’s only by 15 minutes. And I need to pee! No time. Get dressed and get to work Joseph. You’ve got a good feeling about today. Let’s not lose focus!

I’m back. But no promotion. I was for sure hoping. Maybe tomorrow. My boss did like my work.

I need to change out of these clothes. They’re good for work, but that’s done for the day.

Clare won’t get off work for another couple hours. I think I’ll do some gardening research online. This might help me enhance my gardening skills. I think I’m doing pretty well so far. But I heard you could do more with it besides water, weed, evolve, and fertilize.

I do learn something new. It’s called grafting. I can take cutting from other flowers and trees and combine them to create new flowers. I don’t feel like I’m quite skilled for that yet, but it’s something to look forward to.

In the meantime, while I still learn about grafting, I decide to plant some fruits and vegetables along with my flowers.

After planting, I call up Clare to see if she wants hang out and have dinner. Of course she says yes.

Same lovely outfit as usual. We talk for a little bit.

We head over to grill some hamburgers. I guess my Clarebear likes to eat standing up when it comes to outdoors. I invite her to sit, but she said she was okay.

Afterwards, we head back to the fire pit and chat some more until around 11:30pm. We both have work tomorrow, so we call it a night then.

In fact, I’m going to bed. See you in the morning.
