Geordi wakes up nice and early for breakfast. He will not have time do to his Daily Task of working out for his Astronaut Career. Instead of making breakfast, I have him get some leftover pancakes that he had made before.
Because Geordi’s Daily Task was not even started, I had him Work Hard at his job. I’m happy his Promotion Tasks were completed already.
While Geordi is at work, Xochitl pays a visit. Bummer. Maybe she wanted to have brunch with him before she went to work herself. I am going to assume he forgot to tell her his new work schedule or maybe even that he got promoted last night.
As suspected, halfway through his workshift, Geordi becomes Dazed and has a Mental Fog. That’s what happens when he works hard. I make him go back to working Normal for the rest of his shift.
When he gets home from work, Geordi lacks a lot of fun. His Fun Need is in the orange. Since he has a tv bubble, I’ll let him make dinner and then enjoy it by watching some television.
He makes a dish and it is poor. I have him make it again and it’s still poor. Geordi is eating poor food this evening. Sorry, fella. Since he has tomorrow off from work, I have him spend the rest of the night watching tv to keep his Fun in the green for a bit.
There’s still plenty of leftover pancakes in the fridge for Geordi, so he has that for breakfast once again after he wakes up. Look how buff he is getting. He’s already showing his 6-pack. Once he finishes his Bodybuilder Aspiration, I’ll do a before and after side by side.
Speaking of his Bodybuilder Aspiration, Geordi needs to go jogging for 2 hours. He can do that before calling up Xochitl and asking her on a date. The two happen to have today off. And her child will either get a babysitter or will be at school.
I like how Geordi is advertising EA SPORTS on his jog. Yes, I did set him up with that outfit. I just find it fun that EA/Maxis added that to the game for an outfit option.
Geordi jogs for his required 2 hours. Now all he has left is to reach one more level in his Fitness skill and work out for 4 more hours.
Around 11am, it is time for Geordi to call Xochitl and see if she wants to go out on a date. For which, it must be a yes as the screen changes to the two traveling together.
Worlds Apart is not a Challenge. It’s a Let’s Play (non-video version). Something for me to freely enjoy without restrictions. My only restriction I did put in place is each Generation heir(ess) lives in a different World. The played Sim(s) are not confined to doing everything in the World they live in. So, when my Sim goes out on a date or has an adventure, it can be any World I have within the game (and I own all Packs).
I have Geordi take Xochitl to the Celebrazioni D’Amore Lounge in Tartosa. It sounds like a romantic place to visit. I change them both into their Party oufits. They look so cute together.
The first tasks for the date are given. I have Geordi take Xochitl inside the Lounge and find a seat and start Friendly interactions and then move to Romance ones in hopes to get them both Flirty.
Once I get both Geordi and Xochitl into a Flirty mood, I move onto the next tasks that appear. It is time to have him make her laugh.
It is time for Geordi to move in for his first kiss with Xochitl, following up with a passionate one.
Although the date reaches Gold, it’s not over yet. Not all the tasks are done. And there’s still plenty of time before this date concludes.
A little after 5pm, the date concludes. Geordi is rewarded with a gift in his inventory. When he gets home, we’ll check it out and place it somewhere.
Now that the date is over, I travel (alone) to where Xochitl lives. I found out she lives in San Sequoia from doing some research. This is when I find out it looks like she lives with her mom and has a daughter. I’m pretending that she invites him over to her place. It’s now a little after 5pm. So, it can be as if she invites him over for dinner.
I capture a bird’s-eye view of Xochitl’s home. It’s such a big place. I can tell each one’s bedroom just from the style. If Geordi moves forward with her, I wish he would move in with her rather than the other way around. But he has to live in Willow Creek for my Let’s Play. Maybe when I get to this World, I’ll pick this home to live in if it’s vacant.
I put MC Command Center to use to take a bit of a look at Xochitl’s mother and daughter. It turns out the mother, Eleanor Sullivan, is not her mother. Maybe she’s the grandmother to Xochitl’s daughter, Karmine Luna, from her dad’s side. Maybe the father is out of the picture. It also looks like Karmine will become a teenager in a couple days and Eleanor won’t be around much longer after a few days.
I save the game to do more digging. I switch to playing Xochitl just for a moment. This is weird. In Karmine’s Genealogy, it shows Xochitl as her mother and Eleanor as Xochitl’s parent. Then, I select Xochitl. It shows Karmine as her child, but nothing with Eleanor. And finally, no child at all with Eleanor.
But then I have one final thought. Usually the creators will put a brief description in the household panel about the pre-made family. Boom! She is the mother of Karmine’s dad. Mystery solved.
I reload the game where I saved. I have Geordi do a Friendly Introduction to both Karmine and Eleanor. I mix in a few more Friendly interactions to get to know the two a little better. I find it most funny that Geordi perceives gramma Eleanor as attractive.
I am going end the chapter here. It was nice to see Geordi have a successful date with Xochitl and start to get to know her family. I’ll move forward with his relationship with her and hopefully in the next chapter or two, they’ll tie the knot.
