Build Newcrest Challenge: Generation 2: Jubilee Simself<\/pre>\n
Day 73\u00a0<\/strong>(Household Income: \u00a745,395)<\/em><\/p>\n
I went back to work yesterday and got myself some of the youth potion. The same my dad and mom used. I haven’t used it yet.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
Mom wakes me up and she’s not happy. She’s pretty angry. This wakes Karlo<\/a><\/strong> up as well. Mom asks me where I got what’s in the glass on the dresser. I tell her from work. She asks me if it’s the youth potion and I say it is. She asks me why? I tell her I was thinking about staying young to watch Angel and Noelle to grow all the way up.<\/p>\n
She says this is something not to play around with. I get angry back and say, “Well, you and dad used it. So I don’t see the problem here!” She replies, “That’s because your dad wanted to see his grandchildren for a bit longer. You and your siblings were born at a later stage in his life that he would only get to see them at their early toddler days. He was depressed about it. I had a solution. He said I would have to take it, also. You’re still so young. You don’t need this. And what if Angel or Noelle came in overnight and drank it? How would you explain this to them? Is this why you wanted to work with me? Just so you can get your hands on this?”<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
Mom starts to cry and storms out.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
Now I feel bad. I take the glass into the bathroom and dump it in the sink and wash out the glass.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
Karlo<\/a><\/strong> comes in still half asleep and asks me what that was all about. I tell him all about the youth potion. Today is the day Karlo<\/a><\/strong> moves out of the young adult lifestage and becomes just an adult. So, I wish him a happy birthday and I want to take him out tonight for dinner. I ask him just to make sure Angel and Noelle have their dinner. Dad and mom won’t mind watching them.<\/p>\n
I also decide to take a pregnancy test. And it’s positive. Another baby is on the way. But I could already tell when mom woke me up. My belly showed it a little.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
Maybe if I tell mom she is going to have another grandchild, she will be in a better mood. As I go to their bedroom, dad is consoling her. He gives me a look and shakes his head.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
I go back to my bedroom. It’s only around 4 in the morning. I’m awake now. It didn’t take long for Karlo<\/a><\/strong> to go back to sleep. I sit on the side of the bed and grab my phone. I send a text to sis and bro they are going to have another nephew or niece. Then I put my phone away.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
Dulcie is awake as well it seems. I pick her up and start talking to her. I don’t know if she understands me, but she seems to at least pretend like she’s listening.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
As 6:00am rolls around, it’s time for Angel and Noelle to get up. It’s their second day of school.\u00a0I make them cereal for breakfast.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
Then I give them both hugs and kisses and send them off to school.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
As I get ready for work, dad approaches me. He says mom is not going into work today and he has the day off. He tells me that when I get home, it should be okay to talk with her then. I let him know that it is Karlo<\/a><\/strong>‘s birthday and that I am taking him out for dinner. I would love to talk to mom after.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
I tell dad I am pregnant. A big smile comes across his face and he gives me a hug. He says that he will let me tell mom later.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
No need to follow me to work today. It will probably be more analyzing stuff. I’ll see you when I get home.<\/p>\n
\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
I’m home from work and had a good day. I left my family drama at the door. I didn’t want Giovanni to know about what I did anyway. However, I did tell him I was pregnant and will need a day off later. We both laughed and he congratulated me. He even gave me a vacation day to use as my day off for the newborn.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
I change and then myself and Karlo<\/a><\/strong> make our way to the Magnolia Promenade. We have a nice dinner date. We talked about each other’s day and then about the upcoming baby. We shared baby names and decided on what they will be for each gender.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
After dinner, I have them bring out a cake. I tell them it’s for Karlo<\/a><\/strong> aging up. The server was so happy she sung Happy Birthday to Karlo<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
Then Karlo<\/a><\/strong> blew out his candles and aged up.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
When we get home, everyone has already gone to bed. Even mom. I guess the apology will have to wait until the morning. I don’t want to wake her.<\/p>\n
\"\"<\/p>\n
I sneak online and update my social media status. I let them know I’m pregnant since dad already knows now and that Karlo<\/a><\/strong> celebrated his aging up from young adulthood to full adult.<\/p>\n
