It is now a little after 7pm. Geordi is having a meal with Xochitl and her family that gramma Eleanor had grilled up.<\/p>\n

After dinner, it is time for Geordi to ask an important question. No, not a marriage proposal. Not yet, for that. But something else that should happen first.<\/p>\n

Relationships in The Sims move much faster than in real life. Geordi is halfway through in his Young Adult time. Young Adults are 28 days on Normal setting.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Geordi makes it home around 9pm. His Daily Task is only 75% complete, so he spends time before bed on his treadmill.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Geordi wakes up the next morning to find his sink broken. I forgot it had done this, so it’s been broken since Geordi had gone on his date yesterday. Oops. Repair time.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Then it’s time for breakfast before work.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

While at work, Geordi receives a call from Knox. He seems to have a crush on someone and wants Geordi’s advice.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Geordi comes home from work lacking in the fun department again. He did do a great job at work that hopefully he will be getting another promotion on his next shift.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Geordi has the weekend off from work, so he can stay up a little later than normal and sleep in the next. I will use this time to work on his Fitness Skill more as well as his Logic Skill.<\/p>\n

Look at that face of Geordi working out. It looks like he has some built up anger. Working out is a good stress relief since he Likes Fitness. His phone rings as he is working out and it’s his girlfriend, Xochitl. She is excited to have hung out with someone and wanted to share it with him.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It’s now Saturday. Again, Geordi has the weekend off. However, Xochitl does not. I have him ask her on a date again around 11am. This gives them enough time to hang out before she has to go to work. The timer for the date will last longer than I plan them dating, so this one they will end it early when the time comes. I’ll see how far he can get for a reward.<\/p>\n

As I want it a place with food, I take Geordi and Xochitl to the Hare and Hedgehog Cafe in Windenburg. I have him order something and then find a table. Instead of showing the dating requirements like last time, I just have him do the tasks at hand.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It’s getting close to Xochitl’s time to go to work. I know she won’t do it autonomously, but I want it to feel as if she actually will be going into work. Her shift starts at 3pm and it’s 2pm in-game now. I have Geordi offer Xochitl a massage. This gets Geordi a Gold status for his date. The lady behind the two looks a bit jealous. Or she is very impressed how Geordi is treating Xochitl.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I think it’s no time like the present for Geordi to take the relationship with Xochitl to the next level. He’s dated her twice now. He’s met her family. He really likes her. She likes him. Let’s do this!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

After the proposal and Xochitl obviously saying yes, I force end the date between the two.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Back home, I go into the household inventory. I forgot about the something special on Geordi and Xochitl’s first date. I do already know what it is, but for any readers that are new to the game, it’s like a champaign bucket. Since he has two, I go ahead and sell one. The other, I place on one of the kitchen countertops.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I continue to have Geordi work out on his gym machines as he is close to leveling up in his Fitness Skill. He only needs one more level to complete the next milestone of the Bodybuilder Aspiration<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Knox calls Geordi with news about his own date.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Geordi is able to level up in his Fitness Skill and complete the next milestone to the Bodybuilder Aspiration<\/strong>. He now has to max out his Fitness Skill to finish up the aspiration. He already completed a portion of it before he even received the milestone tasks.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

When Geordi completes whims and various milestone components, he earns Satisfaction Points and can use these in the Rewards Store to purchase special awards. One reward I was saving up for, was a Money Tree. It helps with gaining some simoleons. Some would call this ‘cheating’. Since I am not doing any type of Challenge, I don’t see it as cheating. Geordi has earned points to spend on rewards. He has been busy and earned enough points to gain a Money Tree. He deserves to have it.<\/p>\n

I have Geordi plant the Money Tree seed in a corner section of his house outside. Once it is fully grown, I’ll bring it indoors as I don’t want neighbors or passerbys to harvest the tree. In turn, this causes him to Like Gardening.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

With MC Command Center, I get notifications of when a Sim ages up, dies, gets married (and to whom), and who has a baby. As Geordi is sleeping, I get this notification of a death and recognize the name. It is the Sim that Knox went out on a date with and had a fun time. Poor guy is probably sad now.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I got sidetracked when it comes to Geordi working out. My original plan was to only have him work out at home if he works that day. If he doesn’t, he would make his way to a gym. He’s worked out at home on his days off a few times now. I want to go back to Geordi working out at a gym on his days off.<\/p>\n

It’s the next day. I have Geordi go the Movers & Shakers Gym this time in the morning. I like that he has the weekend off. I’m hoping it sticks with his next promotion. As he on one of the machine’s an elderly falls over and passes away. As the Grim Reaper appears, everyone gathers around mourning the loss of this elderly woman. Everyone except Geordi. Geordi continues to work out. Not cool, Geordi!<\/p>\n

I’m going to end this chapter here with the death of the poor elderly woman. Next chapter, I am hoping to have Geordi and Xochitl tie the knot. I think I am going to have the two elope rather than have a ceremony. And perhaps there will be a nooboo on the way.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
