Build Newcrest Challenge: Generation 1: Joseph Simself
GENERATION 1 – HUNGRY HERBALIST
ASPIRATION: FREELANCE BOTANIST – BUILD: PARK
(Your founding sim is just starting out and has a huge struggle ahead of them. They feel that the best way to start building a community in their new home of Newcrest is with a community park.)
GENDER LAW: STRICT EQUALITY
(The founder may be of either gender. However, only children of the opposite gender to the founder are eligible to be named heir. This repeats itself for the next generation (the next heir must be a different gender than the previous heir) so that each generation will have alternating-genders as heirs.)
BLOODLINE LAW: STRICT TRADITIONAL
(To be eligible to be named heir, a child must be naturally born from their previous-generation parents and be able to trace an unbroken bloodline back to the founder. Adopted children may never be named heir.)
HEIR LAW: DEMOCRACY
(This rule may be used if you are displaying your Legacy Challenge in some public way. Either via Let’s Play, Livestream, blog or other format where people can leave comment. The heir is chosen by your viewers/readers from among the pool of eligible heirs.)
SPECIES LAW: XENOPHOBIC
(Heirs cannot be a different species from the founder.)
Side Note: I’m already going to be breaking challenge rules. For Generation 1, the only three options for career choices were Criminal, Culinary, and Painter. I chose something different to make the story come alive!
My name is Joseph Simself.
I am beginning my careering in social media. I was given the power and authority to build in the city known as Newcrest. This part of Newcrest has been separated into three neighborhoods — Midtown Meadows, Avarice Acres, and Civic Cliffs. It was my duty to make these three neighborhoods come alive from nothing. I’m also supposed to tell my story through social media networking. And I’ll be telling you as well.
I don’t have the tools or resources to build everything in one day. I will need to find a wife who will bear me children. These children will help me. They will have children who will help them. My legacy will continue until finally, these three neighborhoods are thriving.
