1.39: Summer Ages Up

3 days after Spica aged up, it is Summer’s turn. She is going to say goodbye to the toddler days and say hello to childhood. She has maxed all her toddler skills, so she’ll get the Top-Notch Toddler trait. I think that carries over as she ages up. I don’t know as I never tried to get all toddlers skills maxed before.

As I mentioned many times in previous chapters, for the household (except Spica), I used the Stylized Look in CAS for the outfits. This is Summer sporting off one of her party outfits. Whomever put together the Stylized Looks did a great job. I love this outfit, especially the sunglasses.

I’ve never ordered any type of goods from a sim’s phone before. This included when The Sims – The Sims 3 was out as well. I thought it would be fun to order a cheese pizza for Summer’s aging up party. Yep, still not calling it a birthday. Too weird.

Levi went to the toddlers’ bedroom to check up on Summer. It was thunder storming out and she was feeling sad. But a party might be the best thing for a scared of thunderstorms type of day. We all hope she’s ready for an exciting afternoon. He becomes Playful with her as that is one of the Aging Up social gathering goals.

Brent and Rigel were the only two invited from outside the household for this party. Brent has sort of become an uncle to them being Levi’s best friend. And Rigel is Summer’s actual aunt, so she had to be invited.

Rigel autonomously came into the room while Levi was doing his best to cheer his daughter up. She sat down on the bed and started talking to Levi and Summer. This family is so good to each other, it’s awesome.

The adults sat around the table to eat their pizza.

Mom had to supervise the toddlers as they ate their pizza in the living room. I’m not exactly sure what happened, but I found it funny. Levi used the Call to Meal and everyone came and grabbed a slice except for Spica.

Levi, Brent, and Rigel went to the dining room and sat at the table to eat. I get that the toddlers sat on the couches cause they can’t sit in normal chairs. But Spica standing there talking to the toddlers and not getting a slice baffled me and surprised me at the same time. To me, it looks like she is supervising and making sure they don’t make a mess.

Then it was time for the Aging Up toddler to Ask Help to Blow Out Candles. Both Levi and Summer huffed and puffed and were able to blow out the candles together.

It was time to pick traits and Child Aspiration for Summer. The 3 kids’ will have at least 1 trait that is going to be from their mom or dad. Levi is Art Lover, Neat, and Good. Spica is Genius, Geek, and Good. I kept clicking on the randomized dice until one of those popped up. And the winning trait is……Good. With the randomized dice also comes… Erratic and Child of the Ocean. Summer also received a bonus trait, Top-Notch Toddler (From having all level 5 toddler skills).

We know the Good trait is because of both Summer’s mom and dad. I’m guessing she got Erratic because she has 2 younger brothers who are twins and driving her insane a lot of times? I’m not sure about the Child of the Ocean trait. This might be revealed later on in her life.

Because she randomized the Silly trait as a toddler, I am giving Summer the Rambunctious Scamp Aspiration.

I went into CAS and changed Summer’s Stylized Look outfits. I changed nothing else. The game gave her short hair as a toddler and kept it going as a child, so I did not mess with it. This is her new party outfit. Very “summer-ish”. “Welcome to childhood, Summer!”

Summer received a dresser for having a golden achievement aging up. I don’t know what it looks like yet, but it’ll be her dresser from now on.
