Going through the motions, Levi and Spica spent 3 in-game days taking care of Jaxon and Jason. I actually spent time working on Summer’s toddler skills during all this. As mentioned in a past chapter, if I have 1 household member selected, the others do their things autonomously.
Therefore, Levi and Spica managed to take care of the twins on their own so I didn’t have to. They even took care of their own Needs. Spica seems to be doing a better job at the Parenting Skill excelling more than Levi. I guess mothers know best.
And it was really fun playing as Summer.
Jaxon was the first born of the twins, so he gets to Age Up first. The randomized dice gives him the Charmer Trait.
These Toddlers love to socialize. They earn Communication skill faster, and don’t suffer Stranger Danger from strangers. They can Share the Love with other Sims.
Jason chooses the Inquisitive Trait from the randomized dice.
Curious explorers. These Toddlers gain thinking skill slightly faster. They are happiest when learning something, and sad if they haven’t learned anything lately.
Because they are twins, I wanted to give them at least the same hairstyle. I didn’t change the color of their hair, tho. It seems the twins picked up the color of their dad’s hair. Funny how the daughter gets the mother’s color and the boys get the father’s color. I liked Jaxon’s original hairstyle the game gave, so Jason received that one as well.
I tried to match their Stylized Looks with how their traits were given. The option for Stylized Look is much easier than going through all the outfits to pick something out. If you play the game, you know you could spend hours just picking out clothes for your sims.
I could use the bedroom for 2 toddlers who grow up together and share a room, but now I have to be creative because there are 3 toddlers. I want to keep Levi’s work room. I’ll cross that bridge when the 3 age up to children and rearrange the bedroom again, but for now I got it to work so the 3 can share a room together. The twins’ beds are close to each other and Summer’s is on the other side of the room. I switched out the house looking doll house with a tree one that all 3 could feel comfortable using.
“Little Summer, you’re too young to be thinking about wedding rings right now.”
Jaxon and Jason started bonding together autonomously right away. Because these 2 are twins, I’m hoping they become best friends with each other real fast. I may have to do a little pushing.
I’m also curious to see how they interact with their older sister autonomously. It will be fun to watch during the times Levi is at work.
The boys followed each other the rest of the night. I was and am in awe. It is neat watching the bonding moment of these 2 on their very first day of being a toddler.
Did you, the reader, figure out which one is Jaxon and which one is Jason? I tried to give you subtle hints in the past couple screen shots. Levi’s relationship profiles at the end will save you if you’re not quite sure or if you want to see if you’re right.
