Levi and Spica wanted to get married right away, but we all know weddings take some planning. And as I am now the wedding planner for these two, I want to make it perfect for them. So it was decided the engaged couple would get married on Levi’s next day off which would be Monday, in-game time. If he gets a promotion at work, the date could change. But that will be the plan for now.
Speaking of which, Levi did get his promotion. His next day off is still Monday, but something else good came from it. His past title didn’t have 2 days off in a row. Now he does. Levi has Monday and Tuesday off. He won’t have to work the day after his wedding now. I love Levi’s facial expression. He cannot wait for Monday to arrive.
For tonight’s painting, Levi goes with a medium classic canvas. It’s a volcano. I can already imagine what this is representing for Levi. He’s about to erupt….lol!
I was curious to see what he’d do for a realism painting, so Levi also paints a medium canvas of one of those. This one turns out to be an almost opposite of what he just previously painted. This is a river of boats. The painting looks calm and soothing compared to the volcano one.
This painting also turns out to be a masterpiece. 2 down and 3 to go. Levi is also at 64% to reaching level 9 in his Painting skill. Then he’ll only have one more level to go to max that skill out.
At work the next day, Levi was struggling with one of his paintings. What was suppose to look like a moving portrait of a grandfather’s weathered face was more and more looking like an oatmeal cookie. But Levi is a painter, he can’t give up and call it quits. So he paints on.
Those are not raisins. They’re now the eyes of a man who survived two world wars. Levi painted his way back to greatness.
“I knew you could do it, Levi!” He received 50 simoleons and a medium performance gain by continuing painting.
Levi finds out it’s New Skill Day. He’s achieved a lot of new skills since his first arrival to Newcrest. He loves to paint, but he’s never tried writing before. He opens the sims equivalent to WordPad on his computer and begins to write stuff from his head. Just think, Levi could have been a SimLit writer instead of a painter. But he really loves painting to change now. At least he got a sense of what writing is like.
Levi hasn’t heard from his best friend, Brent, since their falling out over how to pronounce GIF. His wedding is tomorrow and he wants his best friend there, so it’s time to invite Brent over and make amends. At least try to.
As luck would have it, Spica showed up unannounced. Now Levi can introduce his fiancée to Brent and maybe there’ll be something in him not to be mad at him anymore. The 3 of them chat outside as it can get a bit stuffy in the cottage with 3 people in there.
It looks like Spica is telling the story of how they met and all the events leading up to today. Brent’s reaction is great. He looks shocked. Perhaps this is Spica’s new skill. Hopefully it brings Brent’s senses to focus and he’ll let go of his and Levi’s disagreement.
Aww, Spica autonomously blows a kiss to her fiancé. Brent thinks it’s romantic by his eyes and smile. Hopefully these two have made up now and they can continue being BFFs.
Before Levi goes to bed, he paints for a little bit because not only is it New Skill Day, but all skills are learned a little faster than normal. Levi paints a medium surreal canvas. It only gets him to 83% to the next painting level. It’s better than no gain I suppose. I also find it funny his cooking skill is level 9 already. He cooks and paints everyday. You’d think they’d be the same level.
This painting looks like something you’d find in a nightmare. Maybe he’s expressing his nervousness about tomorrow. “You’ll be fine, Levi!”
