Day 87 (Household Income: §41,745)

Angel, Noelle, and Xavier started school yesterday. Angel and Noelle are in high school and Xavier is in grade school.

Good morning. I have a feeling this is going to be a typical normal week in our household. Angel said he wasn’t ready to be heir yet, but I understand. As soon as I became a teenager, I took on the responsibility right away. I don’t want to rush him.

Something weird happened late last night. Again, I don’t know if it really happened or if it was a dream. Yesterday, I visited mom’s grave and told her I think dad visited me and it would be nice if she did, too. Well, it happened. I got a visit from mom. At least I think I did. She said she heard me and is now here.

She told me about the afterlife. She gets to see dad and her friends all the time now. She mentioned her friends Cathy, July, and Megs. She continued that everyone is nice.

I still remember when I was a child and dad was telling ghost stories and I saw two of them. Now I believe in ghosts for sure now that I’ve been visited by dad and mom.

I go simple and make fruit and yogurt parfait for breakfast. Angel says he is excited to join the book club, Page Turners. I’m happy for him. Dad and mom were in that club.

I send Angel, Noelle, and Xavier off to school at 8:00am. Angel continues to look his confident self as usual.

I noticed there was mail. Bills have arrived. I remember I was forced to get a job when I became a teenager. I’m not going to do that to Angel, Noelle or Xavier. But this also meant they couldn’t go all out re-decorating their rooms. Karlo and myself are bringing in a steady income right now.

Angel will have to get a job after high school, though. We’ll still help him out until we retire, but he’ll need to bring in income as heir.

At 9:00am, Karlo heads off to work. I still think he looks handsome in his work suit.

I am leaving for work now at 10:00am. I feel like I am ready for a promotion, but my boss Giovanni says I need a few more breakthroughs. Since you already know what I do for my shift, there’s no need for you to tag along. I’ll see you when I get home.

I’m home. What a long day at work.

Karlo had dinner on the table already. He had some exciting news he wanted to share with me. He got promoted within the company to vice-president. Wow, what a major accomplishment. I congratulate him.

Noelle asks if she can go to her friend’s graduation tomorrow. Anthony was giving out invitations and she got one. I didn’t see the harm. Karlo said as long as she does her homework right away when she gets home, he doesn’t mind either. Noelle promises, so we allow her to go.

I visit mom’s grave and thank her for visiting me. It was nice to see her.

I also pay my respects to dad. I’m sure he already knows, but I tell him that mom visited me.

Before going to bed, I go online and update my followers about Karlo‘s promotion and my thoughts on ghosts. Hopefully I won’t lose followers. Maybe there are others out there who have seen their relatives as ghosts as well.
